This Voice Data Privacy Notice explains how information is handled when you call a restaurant or food-service business that uses Tringg.
Tringg is a service provided by Alchemy Web LLC (“Tringg,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). The restaurant you call generally decides why and how your call information is used. The restaurant is therefore the business or controller for that information, while Tringg processes the information to provide the restaurant’s phone service. You should contact the restaurant first if you have questions about a particular call or reservation.
1. Notice and choice during a call
At the beginning of a call handled by Tringg, the service identifies itself as an automated AI system and provides notice that the call may be recorded and transcribed.
You may decline recording or request a human. The available alternative depends on the restaurant’s configuration and staff availability and may include transfer to the restaurant, taking a message, or ending the automated interaction. If you continue after the notice and any consent request, the call will be processed as described below.
The restaurant is responsible for configuring its disclosure and routing choices and for providing any additional notice or obtaining any additional consent required in the jurisdictions where it operates.
2. Information collected
Depending on the restaurant’s configuration and what you request, Tringg may process:
the audio of the call and a transcript of spoken words;
the telephone number used to place the call;
date, time, duration, call status, routing information, and consent records;
your name and information you choose to provide;
order details, menu selections, modifiers, pickup or delivery details, and dietary or allergy information you choose to share;
reservation details, such as date, time, party size, and special requests;
questions, messages, feedback, and requests for transfer;
technical and security information needed to connect, monitor, and protect the call; and
information supplied by the restaurant, such as its menu, hours, policies, availability, and operating instructions.
Please do not provide sensitive information that is not needed for your request.
3. No voiceprints
Tringg does not create voiceprints or use the unique characteristics of your voice to identify you. If a restaurant enables recognition of returning callers, it is based on the calling telephone number or information previously provided, not biometric voice identification.
4. How information is used
Call information may be used to:
understand and respond to what you say;
answer questions about the restaurant;
create, update, or cancel an order or reservation;
route a call, take a message, or provide a handoff to restaurant staff;
send a confirmation, summary, or follow-up requested by the restaurant;
detect errors, fraud, misuse, and security incidents;
troubleshoot and monitor service performance;
help the restaurant review calls and respond to disputes or requests;
comply with law and valid legal process; and
create de-identified or aggregated information.
Tringg may use de-identified recordings, transcripts, and call information to test, train, develop, and improve its systems and models. Before doing so, Tringg takes steps designed to remove information that reasonably identifies the caller, restaurant, or operator. Tringg does not attempt to re-identify information used in this form.
5. How information is disclosed
We may disclose call information to:
The restaurant you called: including its authorised owners, managers, staff, franchise organisation, or service administrators.
Restaurant-selected systems: such as point-of-sale, ordering, reservation, delivery, communications, or customer-management tools that the restaurant has chosen to connect.
Tringg service providers: vendors that provide telephony, speech recognition, voice generation, AI models, hosting, databases, messaging, security, analytics, or technical support. Tringg may use providers interchangeably as its systems evolve.
Professional advisers: lawyers, auditors, accountants, insurers, and security specialists subject to appropriate confidentiality duties.
Authorities and other parties for legal reasons: where reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect safety and rights, investigate fraud or misuse, or establish or defend legal claims.
Transaction participants: in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
Other parties: at the restaurant’s direction or with your consent.
Tringg does not sell identifiable caller information or use it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
6. Retention
Tringg generally deletes or de-identifies identifiable call audio, transcripts, caller telephone numbers, and associated call metadata within 30 days after the call.
Information may be retained longer when reasonably necessary to:
comply with a legal hold or applicable law;
investigate a security incident, fraud, abuse, or payment dispute;
resolve a documented complaint or legal claim; or
complete a request initiated during the call.
The restaurant and restaurant-selected systems may retain copies for different periods under the restaurant’s own policies. De-identified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably identify a caller or restaurant may be retained for product analytics and system improvement.
7. Payment information
Tringg does not require callers to speak complete payment-card details into the AI service. Where payment is supported, it is completed through a secure point-of-sale system, payment link, or third-party payment provider. Those providers process payment information under their own privacy notices and security obligations.
8. Security
Tringg uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information, including role-based access controls and security logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. International processing
Tringg is provided by Alchemy Web LLC in the United Arab Emirates. Tringg and its service providers may process call information in the UAE, the United States, and other countries where they operate. Those countries may have privacy laws different from those where you live.
10. Your choices and rights
You may decline call recording or request a human during the call. Depending on the restaurant’s setup, declining may limit the automated service that can be provided.
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to appeal a refusal to act on a request.
Because the restaurant generally controls caller information, please direct a request to the restaurant you called. If you contact Tringg, provide the restaurant name, approximate call date and time, and calling telephone number so we can identify the appropriate restaurant and assist it. Do not send additional sensitive information.
Requests may be emailed to legal@tringg.ai.
11. Children
Tringg is a business service for restaurants and is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that caller information was collected from a child in circumstances requiring parental consent and no valid consent exists, we will work with the restaurant to delete it as required by law.
12. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated notice will be posted with a revised effective date. Restaurants may provide additional notices that apply to their own use of call information.
